Gumball Wins Best TV Production Award!!

The Amazing World of Gumball is “Best TV Production!”

One of our current projects (now working on the second series!) has just won an award at The 2011 Annecy International Animated Film Festival… The episode in question “The Quest” won The Cristal award for Best TV Production in the “TV and Commissioned Films” category.

Here at fitzrovia we did the sound post for Gumball which included voice over work over the sea to LA for the kids voices (via “source connect”). UK based, in house, voice overs, Plenty of foley work all done on site and all the premixing, som epic sound design and final mixing in surround sound and laid back to HD CAM-SR.

It’s a fantastic show airing in the US on a prime time slot on the cartoon network and airs in the UK (again on CN) this autumn. Already huge and with a solid fan base after 1 month of showings (premiered 2nd may) and we are already working towards the second series! Great fun!!
